Chris is a trial attorney with over a decade of experience gained litigating at California's premier real estate firms and Bay Area litigation boutiques. Chris has encountered just about every type of real estate dispute imaginable. His experience spans breach of lease, easement and boundary disputes, fraud in the sale of real estate, broker negligence, commercial unlawful detainers and residential evictions, partition actions, quiet title actions, ADA lawsuits, premises liability, construction defect, and architectural negligence.

Chris also has a diverse complex litigation practice with an emphasis on partnership and joint venture disputes. Chris regularly represents partnerships, individual partners, members, investors, and shareholders in matters involving fiduciary duties, fraud allegations, and business torts. Chris also serves as a strategic advisor to small businesses and individuals in the myriad of disputes they encounter in their professional and personal lives.

Chris is a Berkeley Law graduate who has taken cases through verdict in jury trials, bench trials, private judicial reference, and arbitration. He has settled far more disputes through lawyer-to-lawyer negotiations and mediation: Chris' deep trial experience gives him unique perspective and allows him to save time and money by quickly focusing on what actually matters, while steering cases to early resolution where possible. Despite this focus on early resolution, Chris relishes the opportunity to litigate complicated cases through conclusion where settlement remains elusive.
